Privacy Choices

Manage your Vow privacy choices: account deletion, access requests, sign-in, Screen Time permissions, and launch emails.

Delete your Vow account

In Vow, open Profile > Account > Delete account and confirm. This removes your account, stored onboarding answers, active Vow sessions, and associated server records. The app also clears its local product data during the deletion flow. If local cleanup fails, Vow shows an error; follow the instructions or contact support.

If you cannot sign in, request account deletion by email from the account email address, where possible. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you. Never send passwords or verification codes. Signing out or uninstalling alone does not delete your server account.

Access, correct, or request a copy of your data

Email a privacy request and tell us whether you want access, a copy, a correction, or deletion. Include the email address and sign-in provider associated with your Vow account. We will assess your request, verify identity as needed, and respond within applicable legal time limits.

Plans, focus history, and blocking selections stored only on your device are not available to our support team. Do not send sensitive task names or screenshots unless needed. Editing the local profile in Vow does not change your Apple or Google account details.

Use Vow without connecting an account

Choose Continue as guest on the sign-in screen. Your onboarding answers remain on the device rather than being uploaded to a Vow account. Basic service connections can still expose technical request information to hosting providers. Guest mode does not erase information previously uploaded through an account.

You can remove individual plans in the app. Guest access has no server account to delete. Deleting the app removes its app-container data, but iOS backups and Keychain or shared-extension data may persist. Contact support before reinstalling if you need help avoiding unintended data loss.

Manage device permissions

Screen Time: review Vow's access in iOS Settings > Screen Time. Revoking access prevents Vow from applying its blocking controls. You can also review active rules and selections in Guard.

Notifications: turn Vow notifications on or off in iOS Settings > Notifications > Vow.

Live Activities: manage Vow's Live Activities in its iOS app settings. Setting names can vary with your iOS version. Disabling a permission does not by itself delete historical records.

Manage Apple or Google sign-in

Use your Apple Account settings to manage Sign in with Apple, or your Google Account's third-party connections to manage Google access. Vow does not receive your Apple or Google password.

Revoking provider access can stop sign-in, but it does not replace deleting your Vow account. Delete the Vow account first if you want its server records removed.

Stop launch emails or remove a waitlist signup

Email us to leave the launch list from the address you used to sign up. Ask to remove the signup and its associated metadata. A launch-list signup is separate from a Vow app account; deleting one does not automatically delete the other.
